Siming Zhou joined Ray White City Realty Group to surround herself with a close-knit family of like-minded professionals. Based at the City Apartments office in the CBD and ready to serve the city centre and fringe, Siming is ready to put her commercial sales experience into action.
Moving to New Zealand at 16 for the chance to study abroad and see the world she was quickly on familiar ground with friends, an exciting and active school life, a newfound self-reliance, and spirit for adventure.
After completing high school, she studied at Canterbury University completing a Bachelor of Commerce Majoring in Accounting. Through personal connections in China, she was soon immersed in the excitement of Hong Kong, working for a luxury yacht sales firm managing the build, acquisition, and management of these floating properties for high-end international clients.
From placing multi-million-dollar orders to sourcing interior appointments, hiring staff to purchasing the on-board helicopter and route planning to asset valuation - her own stories in 'property' were taking shape.
This high-pressure role is where her commerce degree met lifestyle - her natural discipline, maturity and independence integrated perfectly with her love of fashion, food, and travel.
Today she takes that personal approach to support people and promote properties in a way that ensures she matches homes to lifestyles. Siming goes by the old age that 'selling means listening not talking'. She loves hearing the stories, qualities, and features of a property to help her fully understand what makes it great so that she can champion its sense of place.
To ensure calm waters ahead Siming is here to help clients every step of the way:
1. A fresh perspective
2. A personal guide
3. A commercial view
Away from her professional life Siming continues the theme of mixing adventure and lifestyle with her other passions that combine the outdoors with indoors and style with action. Apart from extensive travel to all corners of the globe she can speak with authority about her favourite Scottish single malt whisky. Otherwise, she's out playing golf daily as she aims to perfect her game and play as many of New Zealand's courses as possible.
