Real estate heavyweights Steve and Lisa Stone are pleased to announce they’re joining the Ray White City Realty team, following half a decade at Harcourts.
The couple have sold more than $75 million in property since starting out in real estate in 2011, making them some of New Zealand’s most successful agents.
“We chose Ray White City Realty because it’s a forward-thinking real estate agency with innovative vendor management systems and growth ambitions as strong as our own,” says Lisa.
“Steve and I always say that real estate isn’t just about selling houses; it’s about moving people on and getting them on to their next stage in life. We feel it’s time for us to move on now to our own next stage of life and learn new things at Ray White in an area we’re very passionate about.”
The Stone’s are ranked 52nd out of 3,500 real estate agents in their previous agency, and 78th in the world.
Prior to entering real estate, Lisa worked in sales and customer-orientated roles for tech companies such as Telecom and IBM.
Steve also worked in IT and was in charge of establishing New Zealand health software company Orion Health in the European office.
And while they have different complementary skills they have long wanted to put together, both Lisa and Steve put much of their success in real estate down to one thing: their common strength at building real relationships with both vendors and buyers.
“We find out what people want and we help them get it. It’s as simple as that,” says Steve.
“We listen carefully because every client has a different goal of what it is they want in a successful outcome. And at the end of the day, that’s what every client and every real estate agent wants: a successful outcome.”
Phil Horrobin, CEO of Ray White City Realty, says “we are very proud and fortunate to have Steve and Lisa Stone join us and we know they’ll bring their passion for putting people first with them.
